New Step
Full cycle of recovery after amputations
New Step" is about supporting people who lost limbs due to war and are forced to rebuild their lives from scratch.
Together with our partner medical center "Way to Health," we see every day how important it is for this process to be holistic. When all stages — from first aid to prosthetics and adaptation — are integrated into a single system, recovery outcomes improve significantly and the journey becomes less exhausting for the patient.
During the project's implementation, we engage partner organizations such as the Superhumans prosthetics center to provide patients with access to modern prosthetics and quality rehabilitation.
The implementation of this project will:
- ensure a consistent and uninterrupted rehabilitation process — from initial treatment stages to full adaptation with a prosthesis
- unite the work of doctors, rehabilitation specialists, prosthetists, and psychologists within a unified approach
- help patients return to independent living faster and regain confidence in their own strength
