Recovery 2.0

Physical rehabilitation in virtual reality

his project combines modern technology and rehabilitation to make the recovery process more effective and engaging for patients. Virtual reality opens new possibilities where traditional approaches sometimes lose their effectiveness due to fatigue, pain, or loss of motivation.

Within the RECOVERY 2.0 project, we fund physical rehabilitation for patients who are indicated for virtual reality therapy sessions.

The use of VR technologies enables:

  • Effectively combat phantom pain, especially after limb amputations
  • Restore motor functions through interactive exercises in a safe environment
  • Improve coordination, balance, and strength without excessive physical strain
  • Increase rehabilitation motivation through engagement in the process
